I don’t think this survey was worded quite right.  It is worded in a way do get the answers the survey writer wants to lean toward.  Ever wise musician should say “forever.”  The question is: How long should the government grant writers the exclusive rights to monetize their music you write?  Or: How long after publishing your work should you have the legal right to stop others form monetizing your work without a licence?
